Employment issues during Coronavirus: Share your story

Being able to show how issues at work affect real people helps us make the case for better support for people with diabetes. If you've had issues in the workplace and are willing to share your story, please let us know.

Working with our press team, your story will help us bring to life the challenges people living with diabetes are facing in the workplace during these difficult times.

We won't ever publish your story without your permission. If we do want to talk to you about using your story, we'll get in touch and ask you to fill out a consent form. We won't always be able to reply to everyone but thank you again for sharing.

We ask you to tell us personal information about your diabetes so that we can understand your experiences of using tech. We promise to store it securely and keep it confidential.  We will delete your data within two months of the project’s completion date.  Without your agreement, we are unable to contact you about sharing your story.

Are you happy to receive emails
We'd love to keep you updated about how we support people living with diabetes and how you can help by donating, volunteering and campaigning. We'll stay in touch with you by post and phone. It helps us to keep our costs down if we can email you but it's entirely your choice.

Protecting Your Personal Data
Occasionally we may need to share personal data with our suppliers to process your orders and requests or to provide other services to us. We promise:

  • Never to release your personal details to another company for their marketing purposes
  • To always respect your communication preferences

We only want to send you relevant information and requests to support us. To do this we may analyse the information you provide and gather extra data. You can find out more about how we use your information at www.diabetes.org.uk/privacy.

You can change how you hear from us or ask us to stop communicating with you at any time:
